I am not fluent in Portuguese and the staff were very patient and solution-oriented: using Google translate and taking the time to translate my English and Portuguese mix. Attentive to all my needs and they were very kind :) The Gnocchi and Wine pairing was Ótimo!! I took my time and noticed the acid of the tomatoes, velvety melted cheese on top, paired with a well seasoned and cooked gnocchi that created an excellent pairing with some red wine. The music and the paintings gave my eyes a good place to wander as I savored a classic dish. The environment is warm, it reminded me of home, and if you take your time and look at the details, you’ll find beauty in the paintings and most importantly, Prefereito’s artisan cooking that will bring me back again (Next time with some desert too )

We brought our family here to have dinner for my husband’s birthday! The staff are very accommodating because 3 out of the group of 8 of us were vegan. They made recommendations which we took and were very pleased. We tried their bread appetizer with a really delicious tomato sauce. And they made us pasta with mushrooms. As well as a vegan pizza. Everyone loved the food and the atmosphere was very nice for a family setting. Even a romantic setting with just couples. Would definitely come back!

We were lucky to get a table, at 21.00 on a Sunday it was very full. Food portions are big and designed to share each plate with various. The pizzas can have also various options into one, not just one. All good. The didn't get us the ricotta/spinach ravioli, instead we got the gorgonzola/nuts one, Also good. Due to the language barrier there wasn't an option to discuss. Unfortunately they don't speak any other language than Portuguese (we tried Italian, Spanish, English, French and German). But otherwise we got all what we wanted.
